Ahhh, this is like a breath of spring in the middle of winter! I try to make it to this event every year. This year, I am anxious to meet and get Brandon Phillips' autograph. I think he's destined to become of baseball's biggest superstars over the course of the next few seasons. And the best part is, it's free...!
And why is Yahoo suggesting that I put this question in the " Football " category...?
" Harry Balz " : you missed the point of my question altogether. I go because it's fun, and because it's informal with plenty of interaction between the fans and the people they bring along. And as for Brandon Phillips, he's an individual player in which I see enormous potential over the years to come. He's someone I'd like to meet and get an autograph from. Next time, read the question closer before answering...
" shiloh " : Why did you even bother answering my question? You can't even spell " Cincinnati " right ...!

nope, because I am going to spring training in march. you can basically stalk the players, and get who ever's auto you want, if you get there early enough.

not me. the reds are a decent team, but only because they are in the worst devision in baseball. tis good because you get back into the game. it has been a long time since the season ended, and we need our fix

Sorry, but when I think of excitement, the Cinncinnati Reds don't come to mind.

I'm envious of anyone who has the opportunity to get up close and personal with MLB teams and players. The Cardinals had theirs this past week, but I was out of town. Shame too. I could've seen Tony LaRussa lay down the law once again.

Not at all. The Reds are a non factor, have been so for a long time and will be for a long time to come. Can you believe one of their owners once turned off the out of town scoreboard bc she was too cheap to pay for the service. They stink
