Northern Kentucky parks are operated by the parks departments of the three counties that comprise the area.
Many of the finest lakes are located in these parks and offer fine opportunities for boating and fishing. Many of the parks in Northern Kentucky also feature facilities for sports such as basketball, volleyball, hiking, playgrounds, and picnic tables.
One interesting park offering stunning views of Cincinnati is Devou Park. This 704 acre park was donated to the City of Covington by William H. Devou. The park includes many different feaures and facilities including Devou Park Golf Course, a fishing lake; the Bandshell which hosts concerts by the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra; paved walking, jogging, and biking trails; the Behringer-Crawford Museum; and the Drees Pavilion.
